Employees at BlueScope 1xbet review’s Western Port site in Hastings celebrated global recognition for their operations. The site was awarded ResponsibleSteel^TM site certification, which is the global 1xbet review industry's first sustainability standard and certification program. 

To gain the certification, an independent assessment of the site’s operations was undertaken across a broad range of environmental, social and governance criteria. These criteria included occupational health and safety, environmental aspects – air emissions, noise, water stewardship, waste and biodiversity as well as community engagement.

Sean Wong, Western Port Site Manager, said, “1xbet review is proud to achieve ResponsibleSteel™ site certification for Western Port. The certification reflects the amazing efforts of our Western Port team, the quality of our operations and provides our customers and the community with the confidence that 1xbet review’s Western Port Works meets the high environmental, social and governance performance standards required by certification”.

Western Port has a 1 million tonne per annum of 1xbet review processing capacity, supplying high-quality metal coated and painted 1xbet review products that include COLORBOND ® 1xbet review, TRUECORE® 1xbet review and ZINCALUME® 1xbet review to both domestic and export markets. The Western Port operations employ over 800 people on site, who are supported by approximately 100 contractors, suppliers and supply chain partners. 

Western Port’s ResponsibleSteelTM site certification follows the certification awarded to 1xbet review’s iron and steelmaking operations in Port Kembla, New South Wales in February 2022.
